Then he made the cast metal basin,  , 4.5 metres from brim to brim, perfectly round. It was 2.25 metres  high and 13.5 metres  in circumference.


It stood on twelve oxen, three facing north, three facing west, three facing south, and three facing east. The basin was on top of them and all their hindquarters were towards the centre.


Their faces looked something like the face of a human,  and each of the four had the face of a lion on the right, the face of an ox on the left, and the face of an eagle.


Each one had four faces:  one was the face of a cherub, the second the face of a human, the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle.


March round the city with all the men of war, circling the city once. Do this for six days.


The first living creature was like a lion; the second living creature was like an ox; the third living creature had a face like a man; and the fourth living creature was like a flying eagle.
