In addition, they distributed it to males registered by genealogy three  , years old and above; to all who would enter the Lord’s temple for their daily duty,  for their service in their responsibilities according to their divisions.


The best of all the firstfruits of every kind and contribution of every kind from all your gifts will belong to the priests.  You are to give your first batch of dough to the priest  so that a blessing may rest on your homes.


For the lips of a priest should guard knowledge, and people should desire instruction from his mouth, because he is the messenger of the Lord of Armies.


Let the one who is taught the word share  all his good things with the teacher.


They will eat equal portions besides what he has received from the sale of the family estate.  ,


The sons of Levi who receive the priestly office have a command according to the law to collect a tenth from the people   #– #that is, from their brothers and sisters #– #though they have also descended from Abraham.
