The wingspan of these cherubim was 9 metres. They stood on their feet and faced the larger room.


The screen for the gate of the courtyard was made of finely spun linen, expertly embroidered  with blue, purple, and scarlet yarn. It was 9 metres  long, and like the hangings of the courtyard, 2.25 metres  high.


Whenever the camp is about to move on, Aaron and his sons are to go in, take down the screening curtain, and cover the ark of the testimony with it.


Suddenly, the curtain of the sanctuary  was torn in two from top to bottom, the earth quaked, and the rocks were split.


he has inaugurated  for us a new and living way through the curtain (that is, through his flesh  ) #– #


Behind the second curtain was a tent called the most holy place.
