Were not the Cushites and Libyans a vast army with many chariots and horsemen?  When you depended on the Lord, he handed them over to you.


which sends envoys by sea, in reed vessels over the water. Go, swift messengers, to a nation tall and smooth-skinned, to a people feared far and near, a powerful nation with a strange language, whose land is divided by rivers.


Cush, Put, and Lud, and all the various foreign troops, as well as Libya  and the men of the covenant land will fall by the sword along with them.


Israelites, are you not like the Cushites to me? This is the  Lord’s declaration. Didn’t I bring Israel from the land of Egypt, the Philistines from Caphtor,  , and the Arameans from Kir?


I will again bring a conqueror against you who live in Mareshah. The nobility  of Israel will come to Adullam.


Keilah, Achzib, and Mareshah #– #nine cities, with their settlements;


For they are demonic spirits performing signs,  who travel to the kings of the whole world to assemble them  for the battle on the great day of God, the Almighty.
