A man of God  came, however, from Judah to Bethel by the word of the Lord while Jeroboam was standing beside the altar to burn incense.


but you went back and ate food and drank water in the place that he said to you, ‘Do not eat food and do not drink water’   – your corpse will never reach the grave of your ancestors.” ’


for this is what I was commanded by the word of the Lord:  “You must not eat food or drink water or go back the way you came.” ’


One of the sons of the prophets  said to his fellow prophet by the word of the Lord, ‘Strike me! ’ But the man refused to strike him.


But Micaiah said, ‘As the Lord lives,  I will say whatever the Lord says to me.’


Who confronted me, that I should repay him? Everything under heaven belongs to me.


‘Yes,’ he said. When he went into the house, Jesus spoke to him first,  ‘What do you think, Simon? From whom do earthly kings collect tariffs or taxes? From their sons or from strangers? ’   ,


Those, then, who have fallen asleep in Christ  have also perished.


Boasting is necessary. It is not profitable, but I will move on to visions  and revelations  of the Lord.


For we know that the one who raised the Lord Jesus will also raise us with Jesus  and present us with you.


For I did not receive it from a human source and I was not taught it, but it came by a revelation  of Jesus Christ.


For who is our hope or joy  or crown  of boasting  in the presence of our Lord  Jesus at his coming?  Is it not you?


We do not want you to be uninformed, brothers and sisters, concerning those who are asleep, so that you will not grieve like the rest, who have no hope.


who died for us,  so that whether we are awake or asleep,  we may live together with him.


Now concerning the coming  of our Lord  Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him: We ask you, brothers and sisters,
