‘Now, my son, may the Lord be with you,  and may you succeed in building the house of the Lord your God, as he said about you.


in gold, silver, bronze, and iron #– #beyond number. Now begin the work, and may the Lord be with you.’


If the God we serve exists,  then he can rescue  us from the furnace of blazing fire, and he can  rescue us from the power of you, the king.


We will obey you, just as we obeyed Moses in everything. Certainly the Lord your God will be with you, as he was with Moses.


Later, when Boaz arrived from Bethlehem, he said to the harvesters, ‘The Lord be with you.’ ‘The Lord bless you,’  they replied.


Your servant has killed lions and bears; this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, for he has defied the armies of the living God.’


Then Saul had his own military clothes put on David. He put a bronze helmet on David’s head and made him put on armour.


If my father intends to bring evil on you, may the Lord punish Jonathan and do so severely  if I do not tell you and send you away so you may leave safely. May the Lord be with you,  just as he was with my father.


When a man finds his enemy, does he let him go unharmed?  , May the Lord repay you with good for what you’ve done for me today.


Saul said to him, ‘You are blessed, my son David. You will certainly do great things and will also prevail.’  Then David went on his way, and Saul returned home.


Afterwards, Samuel took a stone and set it upright  between Mizpah and Shen. He named it Ebenezer,  explaining, ‘The Lord has helped us to this point.’
