When Peter saw him, he said to Jesus, ‘Lord, what about him? ’


When he arrived and saw the grace of God, he was glad and encouraged all of them to remain true to the Lord with devoted hearts,


Then the apostles and the elders, with the whole church, decided to select men who were among them and to send them to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas: Judas, called Barsabbas, and Silas,  both leading men among the brothers.


But I consider my life of no value to myself; my purpose is to finish my course  and the ministry  I received from the Lord Jesus,  to testify to the gospel of God’s grace.


We have also obtained access through him  by faith  into this grace in which we stand,  and we boast  in the hope of the glory of God.


Now I want to make clear for you, brothers and sisters, the gospel which I preached to you, which you received, on which you have taken your stand


For the Son of God,  Jesus Christ, whom we proclaimed among you #– #Silvanus,  , Timothy, and I #– #did not become ‘Yes and no’. On the contrary, in him it is always ‘Yes’.


I do not mean that we lord it over your faith, but we are workers with you for your joy, because you stand firm in your  faith.


The mystery was made known to me by revelation,  as I have briefly written above.


Tychicus,  our dearly loved brother and faithful servant  in the Lord, will tell you all the news about me so that you may be informed.


You learned this from Epaphras,  our dearly loved fellow servant. He is a faithful minister of Christ  on your  behalf,

Brothers and sisters, I urge you to receive this message of exhortation, for I have written to you briefly.


Therefore, with your minds ready for action,  be sober-minded  and set your hope  completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation  of Jesus Christ.


Just as each one has received a gift, use it to serve others,  as good stewards of the varied grace of God.


Therefore I will always remind you about these things, even though you know them and are established in the truth  you now have.


They have gone astray by abandoning the straight path  and have followed the path of Balaam,  the son of Bosor,  who loved the wages of wickedness


Everyone speaks well of Demetrius #– #even the truth itself. And we also speak well of him, and you know  that our testimony is true.


Dear friends, although I was eager to write to you about the salvation we share,  I found it necessary to write, appealing to you to contend for the faith  that was delivered  to the saints once for all.
