Slaves, obey your human  masters  with fear and trembling,  in the sincerity  of your heart, as you would Christ.

Our citizenship is in heaven, and we eagerly wait for a Saviour from there, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Slaves, obey your human  masters in everything. Don’t work only while being watched, as people-pleasers, but work wholeheartedly, fearing the Lord.

Don’t let anyone despise your youth, but set an example for the believers in speech,  in conduct,  in love,  , in faith, and in purity.

But as the one who called you  is holy,  you also are to be holy in all your conduct;

Conduct  yourselves honourably among the Gentiles,  so that when they slander you as evildoers, they will observe your good works and will glorify God on the day he visits.

In the same way, wives,  submit yourselves to your own husbands so that, even if some disobey the word,  they may be won over  without a word by the way their wives live

Don’t let your beauty consist of outward things like elaborate hairstyles and wearing gold jewellery or fine clothes,

Since all these things are to be dissolved in this way, it is clear what sort of people you should be in holy conduct and godliness
