For the eyes of the Lord roam throughout the earth  to show himself strong for those who are wholeheartedly devoted to him.  You have been foolish in this matter. Therefore, you will have wars from now on.’


My eyes will now be open and my ears attentive to prayer from this place.


The Lord is far from the wicked, but he hears the prayer of the righteous.


The eyes of the  Lord are everywhere, observing the wicked and the good.


The sacrifice of the wicked is detestable to the  Lord, but the prayer of the upright is his delight.


For I have set my face against this city to bring disaster and not good   #– #this is the Lord’s declaration. It will be handed over to the king of Babylon, who will burn it.”


‘Take him and look after him. Don’t do him any harm, but do for him whatever he says.’


I will turn against them.  They may have escaped from the fire, but it will still consume them.  And you will know that I am the Lord when I turn against them.


‘Anyone from the house of Israel or from the foreigners who reside among them who eats any blood,  I will turn  against that person who eats blood and cut him off from his people.


I will turn  against that man and cut him off from his people, because he gave his offspring to Molech, defiling my sanctuary  and profaning my holy name.


‘Whoever turns to mediums  , or spiritists  and prostitutes himself with them, I will turn against that person and cut him off from his people.


I will turn  against you, so that you will be defeated by your enemies. Those who hate you will rule over you, and you will flee even though no one is pursuing you.


For who despises the day of small things?  These seven eyes of the Lord, which scan throughout the whole earth, will rejoice when they see the ceremonial stone  in Zerubbabel’s hand.’


We know that God doesn’t listen to sinners,  but if anyone is God-fearing and does his will,  he listens to him.


It is a land the Lord your God cares for. He is always watching over it  from the beginning to the end of the year.


Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is very powerful in its effect.
