14 I have written to you, children, because you have come to know the Father. I have written to you, fathers, because you have come to know the one who is from the beginning. I have written to you, young men, because you are strong, God’s word  remains in you, and you have conquered the evil one.

If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you want and it will be done for you.


You don’t have his word residing in you, because you don’t believe the one he sent.


Then Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, ‘If you continue in my word,   , you really are my disciples.


I know you are descendants of Abraham,   but you are trying to kill me because my word has no place among you.


Finally, be strengthened by the Lord and by his vast strength.


I am able to do all things through him  who strengthens me.

Let the word of Christ dwell richly among you, in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another through psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs,  singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.
