But if you warn the righteous person that he should not sin, and he does not sin, he will indeed live because he listened to your warning, and you will have rescued yourself.’


Therefore be on the alert, remembering that night and day for three years I never stopped warning each one of you with tears.


Come to your senses  , and stop sinning; for some people are ignorant about God. I say this to your shame.


For you may have countless instructors in Christ, but you don’t have many fathers. For I became your father  in Christ Jesus through the gospel.


This is why I have sent  Timothy to you. He is my dearly loved and faithful  child in the Lord. He will remind you about my ways in Christ Jesus, just as I teach everywhere in every church.


I say this to your shame!  Can it be that there is not one wise person among you who is able to arbitrate between fellow believers?


For my part I have used none of these rights, nor have I written these things so that they may be applied in my case. For it would be better for me to die than for anyone to deprive me of my boast!


Why? Because I don’t love you? God knows I do!


Have you been thinking all along that we were defending ourselves to you? No, in the sight of God we are speaking in Christ, and everything, dear friends, is for building you up.


I don’t say this to condemn you, since I have already said that you are in our hearts, to die together and to live together.


We proclaim him, warning and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone mature in Christ.


As you know, like a father with his own children,


And we exhort you, brothers and sisters:  warn those who are idle,  comfort the discouraged, help the weak, be patient  with everyone.


If anyone does not obey our instruction in this letter, take note of that person; don’t associate with him, so that he may be ashamed.


appeal to you for my son,  Onesimus.  , I became his father  while I was in chains.


My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate  with the Father #– #Jesus Christ the righteous one.


I have no greater joy  than this: to hear that my children  are walking in truth.
