1 Corinthians 15:52
24 Tagairtí Cros

On the third day, when morning came, there was thunder and lightning, a thick cloud on the mountain, and a very loud blast from a ram’s horn, so that all the people in the camp shuddered.

All the people witnessed  the thunder and lightning, the sound of the ram’s horn, and the mountain surrounded by smoke. When the people saw it  they trembled and stood at a distance.

For the Lord said to Moses, ‘Tell the Israelites: You are a stiff-necked people. If I went up with you for a single moment, I would destroy you. Now take off your jewellery, and I will decide what to do with you.’

All you inhabitants of the world and you who live on the earth, when a banner is raised on the mountains, look! When a ram’s horn sounds, listen!

On that day a great ram’s horn  will be blown, and those lost in the land of Assyria will come, as well as those dispersed in the land of Egypt; and they will worship the  Lord at Jerusalem on the holy mountain.

And suppose he sees the sword coming against the land and blows his ram’s horn  to warn the people.

However, suppose the watchman sees the sword coming but doesn’t blow the ram’s horn, so that the people aren’t warned, and the sword comes and takes away their lives. Then they have been taken away because of their iniquity, but I will hold the watchman accountable for their blood.”

Then the Lord will appear over them, and his arrow will fly like lightning. The Lord God will sound the ram’s horn and advance with the southern storms.

However, if one is sounded, only the leaders, the heads of Israel’s clans,  are to gather before you.

‘Separate yourselves from this community so I may consume them instantly.’

‘Get away from this community so that I may consume them instantly.’  But they fell face down.

He will send out his angels with a loud trumpet,   and they will gather his elect from the four winds,   from one end of the sky to the other.

‘Truly I tell you, an hour is coming, and is now here,   when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.

Do not be amazed at this, because a time is coming when all who are in the graves will hear his voice

But each in his own order:  Christ, the firstfruits; afterwards, at his coming, those who belong to Christ.

So it is with the resurrection of the dead: Sown perishable, raised imperishable

What I am saying, brothers and sisters, is this: Flesh  and blood  cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor can the perishable inherit the imperishable.

For we say this to you by a word from the Lord:  We who are still alive at the Lord’s coming  will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep.

But the day of the Lord  will come like a thief;  , on that day the heavens will pass away  with a loud noise, the elements will burn and be dissolved,  and the earth and the works on it will be disclosed.  ,

I looked and heard an eagle  flying high overhead, crying out in a loud voice, ‘Woe!  Woe! Woe to those who live on the earth, because of the remaining trumpet blasts that the three angels are about to sound! ’

Then I saw the seven angels who stand in the presence of God;  seven trumpets were given to them.
