For the Sadducees say there is no resurrection,  and neither angel nor spirit, but the Pharisees affirm them all.

And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead  lives in you, then he who raised Christ from the dead will also bring your mortal bodies to life through  his Spirit who lives in you.

Not only that,  but we ourselves who have the Spirit as the firstfruits   #– #we also groan within ourselves,  eagerly waiting for adoption,  the redemption of our bodies.

Now if Christ is proclaimed as raised from the dead,  how can some of you say, ‘There is no resurrection of the dead’?

and if Christ has not been raised, then our proclamation is in vain, and so is your faith.

But as it is, Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits  of those who have fallen asleep.

For if we believe that Jesus died and rose  again,  in the same way, through Jesus,  God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep.

There is reserved for me the crown  of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge,  will give me on that day, and not only to me, but to all those who have loved his appearing.  ,

Now may the God of peace, who brought up from the dead our Lord Jesus #– #the great Shepherd of the sheep   #– #through the blood of the everlasting covenant,

Now since the children have flesh and blood in common, Jesus also shared in these, so that through his death he might destroy the one holding the power of death #– #that is, the devil   #– #

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Because of his great mercy  he has given us new birth  into a living hope  through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead

and the Living One.   I was dead, but look #– #I am alive for ever and ever,   and I hold the keys   of death and Hades.
