‘Amen,’ Benaiah son of Jehoiada replied to the king. ‘May the Lord, the God of my lord the king, so affirm it.


Blessed be the Lord God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting.’ Then all the people said, ‘Amen’ and ‘Praise the Lord.’


I also shook the folds of my robe and said, ‘May God likewise shake from his house and property everyone who doesn’t keep this promise. May he be shaken out  and have nothing! ’ The whole assembly said, ‘Amen,’ and they praised the Lord. Then the people did as they had promised.

For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit  prays, but my understanding is unfruitful.


For the person who speaks in a tongue  , is not speaking to people but to God, since no one understands him; he speaks mysteries in the Spirit.


My love be with all of you in Christ Jesus.


For every one of God’s promises  is ‘Yes’ in him. Therefore, through him we also say ‘Amen’  to the glory of God.


He who testifies about these things  says, ‘Yes, I am coming soon.’ Amen! Come, Lord Jesus!


The four living creatures said, ‘Amen,’ and the elders fell down and worshipped.


saying, Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honour and power and strength be to our God for ever and ever.  Amen.
