Jacob then named the place Peniel,  ‘For I have seen God face to face,’ he said, ‘yet my life has been spared.’


Even after my skin has been destroyed, yet I will see God in   my flesh.


Yes, God is exalted beyond our knowledge; the number of his years cannot be counted.


The Lord would speak with Moses face to face, just as a man speaks with his friend, then Moses would return to the camp. His assistant, the young man Joshua son of Nun, would not leave the inside of the tent.


‘Son of man, pose a riddle and speak a parable to the house of Israel.


I speak with him   directly, openly, and not in riddles; he sees the form of the  Lord. So why were you not afraid to speak against my servant Moses? ’


‘See to it that you don’t despise one of these little ones,   because I tell you that in heaven their angels   continually view the face of my Father in heaven.   ,


Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.


just as the Father knows me, and I know the Father.   I lay down my life   for the sheep.


For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing  with the glory  that is going to be revealed to us.


When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put aside childish things.


But if anyone loves God,  he is known  by him.


We all, with unveiled faces, are looking as in a mirror at  , the glory of the Lord  and are being transformed  into the same image  from glory to glory; this is from the Lord who is the Spirit.


For we walk by faith,  not by sight.


Not that I have already reached the goal or am already perfect, but I make every effort to take hold  of it because I also have been taken hold of by Christ Jesus.


Because if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like someone looking at his own face  in a mirror.


Dear friends, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet been revealed.  We know that when he appears,  we will be like him  because we will see him as he is.


They will see his face,  and his name will be on their foreheads.
