He said: Blessed be the Lord God of Israel! He spoke directly to my father David, and he has fulfilled the promise  by his power. He said,


‘Blessed be the Lord! He has given rest  to his people Israel according to all he has said. Not one of all the good promises he made through his servant Moses has failed.


Ezra blessed the Lord, the great God, and with their hands lifted up  all the people said, ‘Amen, Amen! ’  Then they knelt low and worshipped the Lord with their faces to the ground.


Then the Levites #– #Jeshua, Kadmiel, Bani, Hashabneiah, Sherebiah, Hodiah, Shebaniah, and Pethahiah   #– #said, ‘Stand up. Blessed be the Lord your God from everlasting to everlasting.’ Blessed be your glorious name, and may it be exalted above all blessing and praise.


The prophet Jeremiah said, ‘Amen!  May the Lord do that. May the Lord make the words you have prophesied come true and may he restore the articles of the Lord’s temple and all the exiles from Babylon to this place!


Otherwise, if you praise with the spirit,  how will the outsider  say ‘Amen’  at your giving of thanks, since he does not know what you are saying?


Blessed is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavens in Christ.


Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Because of his great mercy  he has given us new birth  into a living hope  through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead
