When Midianite  traders passed by, his brothers pulled Joseph out of the pit and sold him for twenty pieces of silver to the Ishmaelites, who took Joseph to Egypt.


The queen of Sheba  heard about Solomon’s fame  connected with the name of the Lord and came to test him with difficult questions.

Midian’s sons: Ephah, Epher, Hanoch, Abida, and Eldaah. All of these were Keturah’s descendants.


The caravans of Tema look for these streams. The travelling merchants of Sheba hope for them.


A pronouncement concerning Arabia: In the desert   brush you will camp for the night, you caravans of Dedanites.


Caravans of camels will cover your land   – young camels of Midian and Ephah – all of them will come from Sheba. They will carry gold and frankincense and proclaim the praises of the  Lord.
