Everyone in camp was jealous of Moses and of Aaron, your chosen priest.


Levi lived to be 137; his sons were Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.


Kohath lived to be 133; his sons were Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel.


Izhar's sons were Korah, Nepheg, and Zichri.


I am the Lord your God who led you out of Egypt.”


You know that our father died in the desert. But it was for something he did wrong, not for joining with Korah in rebelling against the Lord. Our father left no sons


And you saw how the Lord made the ground open up in the middle of our camp underneath the tents of Dathan and Abiram, who were swallowed up along with their families, their animals, and their tents.


Now they are in for real trouble. They have followed Cain's example and have made the same mistake that Balaam did by caring only for money. They have also rebelled against God, just as Korah did. Because of all this, they will be destroyed.
