And now, if he would kill me, I will hope in him; in this, truly, I will correct my ways in his sight.


You yourself are my king and my God, who commands the salvation of Jacob.


He will descend like rain upon fleece, and like showers showering upon the earth.


ZAIN. These recollections are in my heart; therefore, I shall hope.


HETH. "The Lord is my portion," said my soul. Because of this, I will wait for him.


TETH. The Lord is good to those who hope in him, to the soul that seeks him.


TETH. It is good to stand ready in silence for the salvation of God.


And this I pray: that your charity may abound more and more, with knowledge and with all understanding,


For indeed, you act in this way with all the brothers in all of Macedonia. But we petition you, brothers, so that you may abound all the more,


And so, do not lose your confidence, which has a great reward.


For this reason, gird the waist of your mind, be sober, and hope perfectly in the grace that is offered to you in the revelation of Jesus Christ.


Yet truly, increase in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory, both now and in the day of eternity. Amen.


And everyone who holds this hope in him, keeps himself holy, just as he also is holy.
