and with every living soul that is with you: as much with the birds as with the cattle and all the animals of the earth that have gone forth from the ark, and with all the wild beasts of the earth.


The one who secretly detracted his neighbor, this one I pursued. The one with an arrogant eye and an insatiable heart, with that one I would not eat.


He placed with them signs of his word, and portents in the land of Ham.


O Lord, I have loved the beauty of your house and the dwelling place of your glory.


Will not Zion say that this man and that man were born in her? And the Most High himself has founded her.


And shall I not spare Nineveh, the great city, in which there are more than one hundred and twenty thousand men, who do not know the difference between their right and their left, and many beasts?"


The Lord is good, and a comforter in the day of tribulation, and he knows those who hope in him.


In this way, you shall be sons of your Father, who is in heaven. He causes his sun to rise upon the good and the bad, and he causes it to rain upon the just and the unjust.


And by saying these things, they were barely able to restrain the crowds from immolating to them.


Neither is he served by the hands of men, as if in need of anything, since it is he who gives to all things life and breath and all else.
