Behold, I send my angel, and he will prepare the way before my face. And presently the Sovereign, whom you seek, and the angel of testimony, whom you desire, will arrive at his temple. Behold, he approaches, says the Lord of hosts.


Behold, I will send to you Elijah the prophet, before the arrival of the great and terrible day of the Lord.


And if you are willing to accept it, he is the Elijah, who is to come.


And they questioned him, saying: "Then why do the Pharisees and the scribes say that Elijah must arrive first?"


And in response, Peter said to Jesus: "Master, it is good for us to be here. And so let us make three tabernacles, one for you, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah."
