An ox knows his owner, and a donkey knows the manger of his lord, but Israel has not known me, and my people have not understood.


The son honors the father, and the servant his master. If, therefore, I am Father, where is my honor? And if I am Master, where is my fear? says the Lord of hosts to you, O priests, who despise my name. And you have said, "In what way, have we despised your name?"


And these, arriving, said to him: "Teacher, we know that you are truthful and that you do not favor anyone; for you do not consider the appearance of men, but you teach the way of God in truth. Is it lawful to give the tribute to Caesar, or should we not give it?"


Now his betrayer had given them a sign, saying: "He whom I shall kiss, it is he. Take hold of him, and lead him away cautiously."


But they laid hands on him and held him.


But why do you call me, 'Lord, Lord,' and not do what I say?


Jesus said to her, "Mary!" And turning, she said to him, "Rabboni!" (which means, Teacher).


Meanwhile, the disciples petitioned him, saying, "Rabbi, eat."
