In truth, taking up the blood, he sprinkled it on the people, and he said, "This is the blood of the covenant, which the Lord has formed with you concerning all these words."


Behold, the days are approaching, says the Lord, when I will form a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah,


You, likewise, by the blood of your testimony, have sent forth your prisoners from the pit, in which there is no water.


For this is my blood of the new covenant, which shall be shed for many as a remission of sins.


And he said to them: "This is my blood of the new covenant, which shall be shed for many.


Similarly also, the cup, after he had eaten supper, saying: "This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me."


And he has made us suitable ministers of the New Testament, not in the letter, but in the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.


and to Jesus, the Mediator of the New Testament, and to a sprinkling of blood, which speaks better than the blood of Abel.
