The voice of one saying, "Cry out!" And I said, "What should I cry out?" "All flesh is grass, and all its glory is like the flower of the field.


And immediately Jesus extended his hand and took hold of him. And he said to him, "O little in faith, why did you doubt?"


Then Jesus, knowing this, said: "Why do you consider within yourselves, O little in faith, that it is because you have no bread?


And Jesus rebuked him, and the demon went out of him, and the boy was cured from that hour.


But this kind is not cast out, except through prayer and fasting."


So if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is here today, and cast into the oven tomorrow, how much more will he care for you, O little in faith?


And Jesus said to them, "Why are you afraid, O little in faith?" Then rising up, he commanded the winds, and the sea. And a great tranquility occurred.


Then he said to them, "Where is your faith?" And they, being afraid, were amazed, saying to one another, "Who do you think this is, so that he commands both wind and sea, and they obey him?"


For the earth accepts a blessing from God, by drinking in the rain that often falls upon it, and by producing plants that are useful to those by whom it is cultivated.


For all flesh is like the grass and all its glory is like the flower of the grass. The grass withers and its flower falls away.
