Therefore, David went to Baal-perazim. And he struck them there. And he said, "The Lord has divided my enemies before me, just as the waters are divided." Because of this, the name of that place was called Baal-perazim.


This is the word that the Lord has spoken about him: The virgin daughter of Zion has spurned and ridiculed you. The daughter of Jerusalem has shaken her head behind your back.


O God, pay attention to my supplication. Be attentive to my prayer.

LAMED. O all you who pass by the way, attend, and see if there is any sorrow like my sorrow. For he has made me a vintage, just as the Lord has spoken in the day of his furious anger.
