And your mercy will follow me all the days of my life, and so may I dwell in the house of the Lord for length of days.


And this is the testimony of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to him, so that they might ask him, "Who are you?"


Then many of them were saying: "He has a demon or he is insane. Why do you listen him?"


Why are you seeking to kill me?" The crowd responded and said: "You must have a demon. Who is seeking to kill you?"


And so the Jews said among themselves: "Where is this place to which he will go, such that we will not find him? Will he go to those dispersed among the Gentiles and teach the Gentiles?


Therefore, the Jews responded and said to him, "Are we not correct in saying that you are a Samaritan, and that you have a demon?"


Therefore, the Jews said: "Now we know that you have a demon. Abraham is dead, and the Prophets; and yet you say, 'If anyone will have kept my word, he shall not taste death for eternity.'


So then, meditate upon him who endured such adversity from sinners against himself, so that you may not become weary, failing in your souls.


And so, let us go forth to him, outside the camp, bearing his reproach.
