For God knows that, on whatever day you will eat from it, your eyes will be opened; and you will be like gods, knowing good and evil."


And I have dedicated my heart, so that I may know prudence and doctrine, and also error and foolishness. Yet I recognize that, in these things also, there is hardship, and affliction of the spirit.


He has made all things good in their time, and he has handed over the world to their disputes, so that man may not discover the work which God made from the beginning, even until the end.


So then, do not attach your heart to every word that is spoken, lest perhaps you may hear your servant speaking ill of you.


And I understood that man is able to find no explanation for all those works of God which are done under the sun. And so, the more that he labors to seek, so much the less does he find. Yes, even if a wise man were to claim that he knows, he would not be able to discover it.


For, while proclaiming themselves to be wise, they became foolish.


Where are the wise? Where are the scribes? Where are the truth-seekers of this age? Has not God made the wisdom of this world into foolishness?
