and he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat: Thus saith Jehovah unto you, Fear not ye, neither be dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's.


Is not thy fear {\i of God} thy confidence,\par\tab {\i And} the integrity of thy ways thy hope?


He shall not be afraid of evil tidings:\par\tab His heart is fixed, trusting in Jehovah.


I will not be afraid of ten thousands of the people\par\tab That have set themselves against me round about.


Arise, O Jehovah; save me, O my God:\par\tab For thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone;\par\tab Thou hast broken the teeth of the wicked.


The righteous also shall see {\i it}, and fear,\par\tab And shall laugh at him, {\i saying},


and in nothing affrighted by the adversaries: which is for them an evident token of perdition, but of your salvation, and that from God;


But even if ye should suffer for righteousness' sake, blessed {\i are ye}: {\b and fear not their fear, neither be troubled};


Fear not the things which thou art about to suffer: behold, the devil is about to cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days. Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee the crown of life.


And there was war again: and David went out, and fought with the Philistines, and slew them with a great slaughter; and they fled before him.
