But Jesus answered and said unto them, {\cf6 Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.


And those on the rock {\i are} they who, when they have heard, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, who for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.


but if it is of God, ye will not be able to overthrow them; lest haply ye be found even to be fighting against God.


For there must be also factions among you, that they that are approved may be made manifest among you.


Now if Christ is preached that he hath been raised from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?


If then ye were raised together with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated on the right hand of God.


holding faith and a good conscience; which some having thrust from them made shipwreck concerning the faith:


For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil: which some reaching after have been led astray from the faith, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows.\par

Of these things put them in remembrance, charging {\i them} in the sight of God, that they strive not about words, to no profit, to the subverting of them that hear.

{\b Wherefore I was displeased with this generation,\par\tab And said, They do always err in their heart:\par\tab But they did not know my ways;}


My brethren, if any among you err from the truth, and one convert him;


They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us: but {\i they went out}, that they might be made manifest that they all are not of us.
