Go ye, inquire of Jehovah for me, and for the people, and for all Judah, concerning the words of this book that is found; for great is the wrath of Jehovah that is kindled against us, because our fathers have not hearkened unto the words of this book, to do according unto all that which is written concerning us.


For great is Jehovah, and greatly to be praised: He also is to be feared above all gods.


Tremble before him, all the earth: The world also is established that it cannot be moved.


and said, I beseech thee, O Jehovah, the God of heaven, the great and terrible God, that keepeth covenant and lovingkindness with them that love him and keep his commandments:


Dominion and fear are with him; He maketh peace in his high places.


Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.


And Jehovah said unto Moses, Go unto the people, and sanctify them to-day and to-morrow, and let them wash their garments,


But Jehovah is the true God; he is the living God, and an everlasting King: at his wrath the earth trembleth, and the nations are not able to abide his indignation.


Behold, he shall come up like a lion from the pride of the Jordan against the strong habitation: for I will suddenly make them run away from it; and whoso is chosen, him will I appoint over it: for who is like me? and who will appoint me a time? and who is the shepherd that will stand before me?


Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? his wrath is poured out like fire, and the rocks are broken asunder by him.


But Jehovah is in his holy temple: let all the earth keep silence before him.


Be silent, all flesh, before Jehovah; for he is waked up out of his holy habitation.


From heaven fought the stars, From their courses they fought against Sisera.
