And David perceived that Jehovah had established him king over Israel, and that he had exalted his kingdom for his people Israel’s sake.


And Solomon ruled over all the kingdoms from the River unto the land of the Philistines, and unto the border of Egypt: they brought tribute, and served Solomon all the days of his life.


And Hiram king of Tyre sent his servants unto Solomon; for he had heard that they had anointed him king in the room of his father: for Hiram was ever a lover of David.


And David perceived that Jehovah had established him king over Israel; for his kingdom was exalted on high, for his people Israel’s sake.


There have been mighty kings also over Jerusalem, who have ruled over all the country beyond the River; and tribute, custom, and toll, was paid unto them.
