And Jehovah saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.


And Jehovah smelled the sweet savor; and Jehovah said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake, for that the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more everything living, as I have done.


And this was yet a small thing in thine eyes, O Lord Jehovah; but thou hast spoken also of thy servant’s house for a great while to come; and this too after the manner of men, O Lord Jehovah!


How much less one that is abominable and corrupt, A man that drinketh iniquity like water!


For Jehovah God is a sun and a shield: Jehovah will give grace and glory; No good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.


Yea, Jehovah will give that which is good; And our land shall yield its increase.


But thou, O Lord, art a God merciful and gracious, Slow to anger, and abundant in lovingkindness and truth.


For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive, And abundant in lovingkindness unto all them that call upon thee.


Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, these may forget, yet will not I forget thee.


I will make mention of the lovingkindnesses of Jehovah, and the praises of Jehovah, according to all that Jehovah hath bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which he hath bestowed on them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his lovingkindnesses.


The heart is deceitful above all things, and it is exceedingly corrupt: who can know it?


Behold, the days come, saith Jehovah, that I will perform that good word which I have spoken concerning the house of Israel and concerning the house of Judah.


Take with you words, and return unto Jehovah: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and accept that which is good: so will we render as bullocks the offering of our lips.


Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth over the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in lovingkindness.


A son honoreth his father, and a servant his master: if then I am a father, where is mine honor? and if I am a master, where is my fear? saith Jehovah of hosts unto you, O priests, that despise my name. And ye say, Wherein have we despised thy name?


And call no man your father on the earth: for one is your Father, even he who is in heaven.


or if he shall ask for a fish, will give him a serpent?


For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life.


Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it speaketh to them that are under the law; that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may be brought under the judgment of God:


What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we before laid to the charge both of Jews and Greeks, that they are all under sin;


He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not also with him freely give us all things?


But the scripture shut up all things under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.


Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, neither shadow that is cast by turning.


Behold what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called children of God; and such we are. For this cause the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.


Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
