Jehovah our God spake unto us in Horeb, saying, Ye have dwelt long enough in this mountain:


And Moses wrote this law, and delivered it unto the priests the sons of Levi, that bare the ark of the covenant of Jehovah, and unto all the elders of Israel.


and he said unto them, Set your heart unto all the words which I testify unto you this day, which ye shall command your children to observe to do, even all the words of this law.


And this is the law which Moses set before the children of Israel:


beyond the Jordan, in the valley over against Beth-peor, in the land of Sihon king of the Amorites, who dwelt at Heshbon, whom Moses and the children of Israel smote, when they came forth out of Egypt.


And what great nation is there, that hath statutes and ordinances so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day?
