The young man who told him said, “As I happened by chance on Mount Gilboa, there was Saul, leaning on his spear. The chariots and the horsemen followed close behind him.


There happened to be there a wicked fellow, whose name was Sheba the son of Bichri, a Benjamite. He blew the trumpet, and said, “We have no portion in David, neither have we inheritance in the son of Jesse. Every man to his tents, Israel!”


While he was telling the king how he had restored to life him who was dead, the woman whose son he had restored to life begged the king for her house and for her land. Gehazi said, “My lord, O king, this is the woman, and this is her son, whom Elisha restored to life.”


“Aren’t two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them falls to the ground apart from the will of y’all’s Father.


By chance, a priest was going down that way, and when he saw the man, he passed by on the other side.


Now such people we command and urge in the Lord Jesus Christ, that they work quietly and eat the food they earn.


Ruth the Moabite said to Naomi, “Let me go to the field and glean among the ears of grain behind someone in whose eyes I find favor.” Naomi said to her, “Go, my daughter.”


Just then, Boaz arrived from Bethlehem and said to the harvesters, “May YHWH be with y’all.” They answered him, “May YHWH bless you.”
