When ʜᴇ remains quiet, who then can condemn? When he hides his face, who then can see him? Hᴇ is over a nation or a man alike,
Why do you not pardon my disobedience, and take away my iniquity? For now will I lie down in the dust. You will seek me diligently, but I will not be.”
You hide your face; they are troubled. You take away their breath; they die and return to the dust.
How long, YHWH? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?
Hurry to answer me, YHWH. My spirit fails. Don’t hide your face from me, so that I don’t become like those who go down into the pit.
Listen, YHWH, to my righteous plea. Open your ears to my prayer, it does not proceed from deceitful lips.
Don’t hide your face from me. Don’t turn your servant away in anger. You have been my helper. Don’t abandon me, or forsake me, God of my salvation.

No temptation has overtaken y’all except what is common to humankind. God is faithful, and he will not allow y’all to be tempted beyond what y’all are able, but with the temptation will make the way of escape, so that y’all will be able to endure it.
