Lot went out, and spoke to his sons-in-law, who were pledged to marry his daughters, and said, “Y’all get up and get out of this place! For YHWH will destroy the city!” But he seemed to his sons-in-law to be joking.


David lifted up his eyes, and saw the Angel of YHWH standing between earth and the sky, having a drawn sword in his hand stretched out over Jerusalem. Then David and the elders, clothed in sackcloth, fell on their faces.


“You are to speak to the congregation, saying, ‘Y’all get away from the tent of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram!’”


He spoke to the congregation, saying, “Y’all must move away from the tents of these wicked men, and touch nothing of theirs, or y’all will be destroyed with all their sins!”


Moses and Aaron went from the presence of the assembly to the door of the Tent of Meeting, and fell on their faces. YHWH’s glory appeared to them.


He went a little farther, fell on his face and prayed, saying, “My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not what I will, but as you will.”
