Then YHWH said to me, “The prophets are prophesying lies in my name. I didn’t send them. I didn’t command them. I didn’t speak to them. They are prophesying to y’all a lying vision, divination, and a thing of nothing, and the deceit of their own heart.
I didn’t send these prophets, yet they ran. I didn’t speak to them, yet they prophesied.
“I have heard what the prophets have said, who prophesy lies in my name. They say, ‘I had a dream! I had a dream!’
“YHWH says, ‘Y’all should not deceive yourselves*, saying, “The Chaldeans will leave-leave us.” They will not leave!
Many false prophets will appear, and they will lead many people astray.
For false Christs and false prophets will appear, and they will perform great signs and wonders to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.
I have come in my Father’s name, and y’all don’t receive me. If another comes in his own name, y’all will accept him.
