So y’all go to main streets and invite anyone y’all find to the wedding banquet.’
Jesus said to them, “The guests of the bridegroom cannot mourn while the bridegroom is with them, can they? But the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them, and then they will fast.
But those who are considered worthy to take part in that age and the resurrection from the dead neither marry nor are given in marriage.
But y’all be watchful at all times, praying that y’all may be counted worthy to escape all that is about to happen, and to stand before the Son of Humanity.”
Then Paul and Barnabas spoke out boldly, “It was necessary that the word of God be spoken to y’all first. Since indeed y’all reject it and judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life, we are now turning to the ethnic groups.
This is clear evidence of God’s righteous judgment that y’all will be counted worthy of the Empire of God, for which y’all are suffering,
