How much more valuable is a human than a sheep! Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath day.”


He told to them many things in parables, saying, “A farmer went out to sow.


The one who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces, and the one on whom it falls will be crushed.”


They were seeking a way to arrest him, but they were afraid of the crowd, because they considered him to be a prophet.


One of the legal experts answered him, “Teacher, when you say this, you insult us also.”


The scribes and chief priests wanted to arrest him that very hour, because they knew he had spoken this parable against them. But they feared the people.
