So when his fellow servants saw what happened, they were deeply offended, and went and told their master everything that had happened.
Shouldn’t you also have had mercy on your fellow servant, just as I had mercy on you?’
“But his master answered him, ‘You wicked, lazy servant. So you knew that I reap where I didn’t sow, and gather where I didn’t scatter?
“The king said to him, ‘I will judge you by the words from your own mouth, you wicked servant! You knew that I am an exacting man, withdrawing what I didn’t deposit and reaping that which I didn’t sow.
Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those under the law, so that every mouth may be closed, and all the world would become accountable to God.
For judgment is without mercy to anyone who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.
