When Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house (now his windows were open in his room toward Jerusalem) and he kneeled on his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did before.


And a man with a withered hand was there. They asked him, “Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath day?” so that they could accuse him.


They watched him to see if he would heal him on the Sabbath day, that they might accuse him.


Then he said to them, “Is it lawful on the Sabbath to do good or to do harm? To save a life or to kill?” But they were silent.


But he knew their thoughts, so he said to the man with the shriveled hand, “Get up and stand here in the middle.” So he got up and stood there.


I must work the works of ʜɪᴍ who sent me while it is day. The night is coming, when no one can work.


Therefore, my beloved siblings, y’all must stand firm, immovable, always abounding in the Lord’s work, because y’all know that y’all’s labor in the Lord is not in vain.


Let’s not be weary in doing what is excellent, for we will reap in due season if we don’t give up.
