“Therefore, y’all must watch carefully for y’all don’t know the day nor the hour.


So y’all must be on guard. “I have told y’all everything ahead of time.


Therefore y’all must also be ready, for the Son of Humanity is coming at an hour when y’all won’t expect him.”


But y’all are to put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make* no provision for the desires of the flesh.


Y’all must stay alert and must stand firm in the faith! Y’all must be courageous and strong!


Pray at all times in the Spirit with every prayer and request, and be watchful to this end in all perseverance and requests for all the saints.


Y’all are to be devoted to prayer, being watchful with thanksgiving,


watching carefully so that no one falls short of the grace of God, and no root of bitterness springs up to cause trouble and defile many.


The end of all things is near. Therefore y’all are to be self-controlled and sober-minded for prayer.


Y’all be sober-minded and alert. Y’all’s adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.


“Look, I am coming like a thief. Blessed is the one who stays awake and keeps their clothes on, so that they don’t walk naked and have people see their shame.”


You must wake up and strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have not found your works completed in the presence of my God.
