On the first day, y’all are to take the fruit of majestic trees, branches of palm trees, and boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook, and y’all are to rejoice before YHWH y’all’s God for seven days.
A very large crowd spread their clothes on the road. Others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road.
They brought the colt to Jesus and threw their cloaks on it, and he sat on it.
Those who went in front and those who followed cried out, “Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord [YHWH]!
