“Micah the Morashtite prophesied in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah; and he spoke to all the people of Judah, saying, ‘YHWH Almighty says: “‘Zion will be plowed as a field, and Jerusalem will become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of a forest.’


then I will make this house like Shiloh, and will make this city a curse to all the nations of the earth.’”


Why have you prophesied in the name of YHWH, saying, ‘This house will be like Shiloh, and this city will be desolate, without inhabitant?’” All the people were crowded around Jeremiah in the house of YHWH.


How the gold has become dim! The most pure gold has changed! The stones of the sanctuary are poured out at the head of every street.


for the mountain of Zion, which is desolate. The foxes walk on it.


Therefore because of y’all, Zion will be plowed like a field, and Jerusalem will become a heap of ruins, and the mountain of the temple like the high places of a forest.


Open your doors, Lebanon, that the fire may devour your cedars.


For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city will be taken, the houses rifled, and the women ravished. Half of the city will go out into captivity, and the rest of the people will not be cut off from the city.


But he answered them, “Y’all see all of these things? Not one stone here will be left on another. Every one will be thrown down.”


Jesus said to him, “Do you see these great buildings? Not one stone will be left on another. Every one will be thrown down.”


They questioned him, “Teacher, so when will these things happen? And what is the sign that these things are about to take place?”
