Luke 15:3

All we like sheep have gone astray. Everyone has turned to his own way; and YHWH has laid on him the iniquity of us all.


I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and delight in my people; and the voice of weeping and the voice of crying will be heard in her no more.


Rather, y’all must go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.


He told to them many things in parables, saying, “A farmer went out to sow.


But y’all go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice.’ For I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.”


The Pharisees and scribes were complaining, “This man welcomes sinners and eats with them.”


“What human among y’all, if he has a hundred sheep and loses one of them, wouldn’t leave the ninety-nine in the open pasture and go after the lost one until he finds it?


He said to him again a second time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love me?” He said to him, “Yes, Lord. You know that I have affection for you.” He said to him, “Shepherd my sheep.”


When they heard this, they glorified God. They said to him, “You see, brother, how many thousands of Jews have believed, and they are all zealous for the law.
