So YHWH God said to the woman, “What have you done?” The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”


Joab said to the king, “Now may YHWH your God add to the people, however many they may be, one hundred times; and may the eyes of my lord the king see it. But why does my lord the king delight in this thing?”


For it hurls at him, and does not spare, as he flees-flees away from its hand.


Then they said to him, “What should we do to you so that the sea may become calm for us?” For the sea was growing more and more stormy.


But Jonah got up and fled to Tarshish, away from YHWH’s presence. He went down to Joppa, and found a ship going to Tarshish. He paid its fare, and went aboard to go with them to Tarshish away from YHWH’s presence.


When Pilate heard this statement, he was more afraid.
