He waited seven more days, and he sent the dove out of the ark again.


The dove came back to him at evening and in her mouth was a freshly plucked olive leaf! So Noah knew that the waters were abated from the earth.


Wait for YHWH. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for YHWH.


It will be said in that day, “Look, this is our God! We have waited for ʜɪᴍ, and ʜᴇ will save us! This is YHWH! We have waited for ʜɪᴍ. We will be glad and rejoice in his salvation!”


Yes, in the way of your judgments, YHWH, we have waited for you. Your name and your renown are the desire of our soul.


And yet YHWH will wait, so that ʜᴇ may be gracious to y’all. Hᴇ will rise up to have compassion on y’all. For YHWH is a God of justice. Blessed are all those who wait for ʜɪᴍ.


I will wait for YHWH, who hides his face from the house of Jacob, and I will watch hopefully for ʜɪᴍ.


Y’all must leave the towns and live among the rocks, residents of Moab. Y’all are to be like a dove that makes her nest over the mouth of the pit.


For the vision is yet for the appointed time, and it hurries toward the end, and won’t prove false. Though it takes time, wait for it, because it will surely come. It won’t delay.
