Adam had relations with his wife again. She gave birth to a son, and named him Seth, saying, “for God has given me another child instead of Abel, since Cain killed him.”


Hᴇ created them male and female, and blessed them. On the day they were created, ʜᴇ named them humankind.


The days of Adam after he became the father of Seth were eight hundred years, and he became the father of other sons and daughters.


Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? Not one.


How then can a human be justified before God? Or how can one born of a woman be clean?


Surely, I was born in iniquity. My mother conceived me in sin.


The angel answered her, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. Therefore the one who is to be born will be holy and will be called the Son of God.

All flesh is not the same flesh. Humans have one flesh, animals another flesh, birds another flesh, and fish another.


As just as we have borne the image of those made of earth, so we will also bear the image of the heavenly one.


We also all once lived among them in the lusts of our flesh, indulging in the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like all the rest.
