Then David came to Mahanaim. Absalom passed over the Jordan, he and all the men of Israel with him.

Then David came to Mahanaim. Absalom passed over the Jordan, he and all the men of Israel with him.
Abner the son of Ner, and the servants of Ish-bosheth the son of Saul, went out from Mahanaim to Gibeon.
Now Abner the son of Ner, captain of Saul’s army, had taken Ish-bosheth the son of Saul and brought him over to Mahanaim.
“Look, there is with you Shimei the son of Gera, the Benjamite of Bahurim, who cursed me with a grievous curse in the day when I went to Mahanaim. But when he came down to meet me at the Jordan, I swore to him by YHWH, saying, ‘I will not put you to death with the sword.’
Elisha prayed, and said, “YHWH, please open his eyes to see.” YHWH opened the young man’s eyes, and he saw that the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire around Elisha.
For from day to day men came to David to help him, until there was a great army, like God’s army.
Who is this King of glory? YHWH Almighty is the King of glory! Selah.
The Angel of YHWH encamps around those who fear ʜɪᴍ, and delivers them.
Come back, come back, O Shulammite! Come back, come back, that we may gaze upon you. Why do y’all desire to gaze at the Shulammite, as at the dance of Mahanaim?
Then he said, “Do you know why I have come to you? Now I will return to fight with the prince of Persia. When I leave, then the prince of Greece will come.
Suddenly, a vast heavenly army appeared with the angel praising God and saying,
Out of the tribe of Gad, Ramoth in Gilead with its pasture lands, the city of refuge for the man slayer, and Mahanaim with its pasture lands,
He said, “Neither. I have come now as commander of YHWH’s army.” Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and worshiped, and asked him, “What does my lord say to ʜɪꜱ servant?”
