He lifted up his eyes, and saw Benjamin, his brother, his mother’s son, and said, “Is this y’all’s youngest brother, of whom y’all spoke to me?” He said, “God be gracious to you, my son.”


Then Ahimaaz the son of Zadok said yet again to Joab, “But come what may, please let me also run after the Cushite.” Joab said, “Why do you want to run, my son, since you will have no reward for the news?”


Some people brought a man who was paralyzed to him, lying on a bed. Seeing their faith, Jesus said to the paralyzed man, “Son, take courage! Your sins are forgiven you.”


He ran to Eli and said, “Here I am; for you called me.” He said, “I didn’t call. Lie down again.” He went and lay down.


Now Samuel didn’t yet know YHWH, neither was the word of YHWH yet revealed to him.


The man said to Eli, “I am he who came out of the army, and I fled today out of the army.” He said, “How did the matter go, my son?”
